In recent years, biomass carbon fiber has received extensive attention from many scholars.Among biomass materials, rabbit hair has a natural hollow structure and contains nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus elements. It is an environmentally friendly,low-cost,easy-to-use,and sustainable biomass material.According to statistics,a large amount of rabbit hair waste used for clothing processing is directly discarded in landfills every year. Therefore, how to rationally use waste rabbit hair fiber and effectively exert its potential value has become a topic that researchers gradually pay attention to.This article is based on animal protein fiber carbonization technology to prepare rabbit hair hollow carbon fiber(RC),and its structure, performance and application are studied, the specific content is as follows:(1)Using biomass rabbit hair fiber as the precursor, combined with washing and drying, heat treatment and carbonization processes,a carbon fiber with a large specific surface area, heteroatom doping and hollow structure was developed, and the effect of different heat treatment temperatures and different carbonization temperatures was discussed. The results show that when the heat treatment temperature is 300?and the carbonization temperature is 800?,the hollow structure, electrical conductivity, graphitization degree and other comprehensive properties of rabbit hair carbon fiber are the best. The specific surface area can reach237.828 m2/g,and the conductivity can reach 1210 S/m.It has great application prospects in electrode materials, adsorption, photocatalysis and other fields.(2)Based on the rabbit hair-based hollow carbon fiber preparation technology, the sulfur-carbon composite material is prepared by the hot-melting method, and mixed with a small amount of CNTs to prepare the excellent sulfur/rabbit hair-based hollow carbon fiber-carbon nanotubes(S/RC-CNTs)for cathode materials of lithium-sulfur batteries,to explore the impact of different carbonization temperatures on the performance of the final lithium-sulfur battery. The experimental results show that when the carbonization temperature is 800?,the electrode material made of rabbit hair-based hollow carbon fiber has the best application performance in lithium-sulfur batteries.S/RC-CNTs-800 has a high initial value discharge capacity of 899 m Ah g-1,at 0.5 C,after 300 cycles,it can still maintain a reversible capacity of 598 m Ah g-1;under the high rate conditions of 1 C and 2 C,the battery still has a higher discharge specific capacity, respectively 543.8 m Ah g-1and 505.4 m Ah g-1.(3)On the basis of rabbit hair-based hollow carbon fibers, titanium dioxide rabbit hair-based carbon fiber composites(TiO2/CRFs)were prepared by combining the dipping method and the roasting method.TiO2/CRFs=5:1 is the best ratio,TiO2nanoparticles can be more uniformly loaded on the carbon fiber framework, and the specific surface area is still as high as 345.757 m2g-1,making it have a strong adsorption effect on dyes in the dark reaction stage. In addition, the heteroatoms(including O,N,etc.)contained in the rabbit hair itself are bonded to the carbon fiber in the form of chemical bonds. The reaction can be carried out under visible light conditions. The photocatalytic performance test shows that when the initial concentration of MB solution is 10 mg L-1,the ratio of TiO2/CRFs is 5:1,and the amount of TiO2/CRFs photocatalyst is 1.25 g L-1,under the condition of 80 min sunlight, the degradation rate reached 98.1%.After three consecutive reaction cycles, the degradation efficiency of TiO2/CRFs on MB solution changed little, only attenuated by 3.9%,indicating that the catalyst has good long-lasting catalytic ability.
