Analyst Field Research And Corporate Environmental Protection Investment

In recent years,China has paid increasing attention to environmental protection and placed ecological environmental protection in a more prominent position.The enterprise's investment in environmental protection is an important manifestation of the enterprise's environmental and social responsibility,and also an important information of the enterprise's environmental information disclosure.Based on the external supervision hypothesis and performance pressure hypothesis,this paper chooses to study the relationship between analyst site visits and corporate investment in environmental protection by taking companies listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2019 as the research samples.It is found that the analyst site visits plays a positive role in promoting the environmental governance of enterprises.Specifically,the more the number of analyst site visits,the more the number of institutions,the higher the investment in environmental protection.Further research shows that the environmental governance effect of analyst site visits is more obvious in enterprises with better environmental information disclosure.For state-owned enterprises,the impact of analysts' field research on their environmental and social responsibility governance is more obvious.In addition,this paper selects GEM Co.,Ltd as a case enterprise for case analysis,and it is found that there is a positive correlation between the number of analyst site visits,the number of field investigations and the number of institutions conducted by analysts and their investment in environmental protection.External supervision hypothesis in the research of this paper verified the role of environmental governance,further deepening the analyst site visits investigation,an analyst at research on the governance of listed companies effect,enrich the listed company in the research the influencing factors and environmental protection for the deep understanding of social responsibility and promote our country enterprise environment management has practical significance.
