LabVIEW-based Generator Efficiency Test Method And Its Application

Generator efficiency is an important parameter for generator energy conversion,an important indicator for checking the performance of generator equipment,and also a necessary parameter for the calculation of turbine efficiency.Generator efficiency testing is generally conducted during power plant construction or during maintenance.Up to now,onsite testing of generator efficiency is still difficult to achieve.This paper proposes a test method for generator efficiency on the spot.Based on the laser time measurement method under laser technology,the non-contact test of the efficiency is achieved by measuring the torsional offset generated by the generator shaft force.In order to ensure the accuracy of the proposed test method,a relative error analysis is carried out on each parameter in this paper,and it is found that vibration is an important factor that affects the accuracy of the calculation results,and the generator is always accompanied by vibration during operation.The disturbing factors of the efficiency measurement test accuracy,for this reason,the paper analyzes the noise generated by the generator vibration,selects the wavelet analysis method from the existing noise filtering methods,and conducts a simulation study on the characteristics of the noise.The simulation results show that the selected noise filtering method is feasible.The thesis also perfected the proposed test method,choice LabVIEW as the software development platform,designed the logic block diagram of the test system,and divided the test system into four function modules: parameter setting,data reading,data calculation and result output.Through the logical of connection of the design module,the generator efficiency test system was completed,and the field test data was simulated to simulate.
