Energy is not only an important material basis for social progress and economicdevelopment,but also an important basis for people to engage in production activities.With the development of society,people gradually realize the increasing depletion of fossil energy and the huge problems caused by environmental pollution.Improving energy efficiency,adjustingenergy structure,developing and utilizing renewable energy will be the inevitable choice forfuture energy development.However,the low bulk density of agricultural crop straw bring some difficulties to the collection,transportation,storage and application.Solidified pellet is one of the main ways of comprehensive utilization,which can not only maximize the utilization of straw,but also reduce the pollution of straw in the process of direct incineration,improve the energydensity,reduce the hidden danger of fire,and solve the problems of straw collection,transportation and storage.The traditional biomass fuel molding process need high temperature and high pressure additives.In this study,the physical properties of corn stalk pellet were studied by single factor test and quadratic regression rotatable orthogonal test.The research mainconclusions are as follow:(1)Through single factor experiments,the transformation law of fuel density,relaxationdensity,pellet durability,water resistance,moisture resistance with particle size,water content,molding pressure,compression time and ultrasonic power supply were obtained.Withoutultrasonic assistance,pellet durability was 0%,and could not meet the requirements of storage and transportation,If the power was too high,pellet was easy carbonated.(2)Through quadratic regression rotatable orthogonal test,the mathematical regressionmodel of each influencing factor to pellet density was established.The significance of the model was verified by variance analysis,and the primary and secondary order of influencing factors to pellet density were as follows:particle size,molding pressure,water content,ultrasonic power supply and compression time.(3)Through quadratic regression rotatable orthogonal test,the mathematical regression model of each influencing factor to pellet durability was established.The significance of the model was verified by variance analysis,and the primary and secondary order of influencing factors to pellet durability were as follows:ultrasonic power supply,molding pressure,compression time,particle size and water content.(4)The contribution rate of various factors to the density and durability was analyzed,and the optimal combination of process parameters were particle size 1.5mm,water content 10%,molding pressure 379k Pa,compression time 80s,ultrasonic power supply 250w.The pelletdensity and durability was 1381.14 kg/m~3and 97.58%,respectively.
