Electromagnetic and electrothermal chemical guns are the hotspot of research on new concept weapons at home and abroad.Pulse power supply,as the energy supply of projectile launch,has the characteristics of high voltage,high current and fast discharge speed.With the continuous improvement of the performance of key components in the pulse power supply,the discharge technology of high repetition-frequency pulse power supply has become an important research direction at present.In order to ensure the reliable discharge of high repetitionfrequency pulse power supply,it is particularly necessary to test the performance of the key components after each discharge to ensure the normal operation of the subsequent charge and discharge.However,the current diagnostic technology for high-power components of pulse power supply is not mature enough,which restricts the development of high repetitionfrequency pulse power supply technology.Under this background,the measurement and control system of high repetition-frequency pulse power supply is studied.Put forward the hardware structure and software flow of the high repetition-frequency pulse power supply measurement and control system,the upper computer software interface of the measurement and control system is designed to realize the setting of experimental parameters,the control of discharge process and the detection of power devices of each module.Focus on the design of pulse power module(PPM)discharge current detection and thyristor and silicon heap fault detection unit to ensure the reliable operation of the pulsed power supply under the condition of high repetition-frequency.Current detection: according to the discharge characteristics of PPM in the working state,the current detection boundary judgment model is established to judge whether PPM is discharging normally.At the same time,the damage situation of power components can be determined and located according to abnormal current waveform.The current detection unit includes external integral Rogowski coil,current acquisition microprocessor unit,communication circuit and upper computer diagnosis software.Thyristor and silicon heap fault detection: use the method of high voltage isolation,statically test the voltage on the equalizing resistance of the thyristor and silicon heap,further determine whether the thyristor or the silicon heap is punctured after continuous discharge,provide diagnostic basis for the next experiment.Fault detection unit includes detection circuit,SCM control unit,communication circuit and upper computer detection software.The combination of current detection and fault detection can effectively improve the accuracy and reliability of fault detection for thyristor and silicon heap.The hardware and software design of the high repetition-frequency pulse power supply measurement and control system is completed,and has been carried on the test verification.The test results show that this measurement and control system can diagnose the current waveform and complete fault detection of thyristor and silicon heap within 0.6s,which provides effective technical support for reliable and controllable high repetition-frequency discharge of pulse power supply and has important engineering application value.
