In recent years, the rapid development of maritime transportation and civil aviation business requires the establishment of a comprehensive global air and sea target surveillance system to ensure the safety of maritime and air traffic. The emergence of the satellite-based Automatic Identification System(AIS)and the satellite-based Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B)provides a solution.However,satellite-based platforms bring various technical difficulties to the design of the system. This paper focuses on the key technologies of the satellite-based AIS and ADS-B target monitoring systems. The main work of this paper is as follows:1)A collided signal separation model is established under the multi-channel array receiving architecture.Based on the research on the basic principle of blind source separation and the optimization method of the objective function,a collided signal separation algorithm based on the Hessian matrix pre-estimation is proposed. The algorithm uses Hessian matrix pre-estimation to improve the initial value of the quasi-Newton iteration, which can accelerate the optimization of the objective function and achieve efficient separation of collided signals.2)The satellite-based system receives signals from a distance which causes packet loss and data error.Based on the Interacting Multiple Model kalman filtering, and considering the characteristics of AIS and ADS-B messages,a hybrid track filtering algorithm based on adaptive multi-model is proposed. The algorithm has better adaptability to the switching of the target motion mode, and the filtering accuracy is higher.3)The size and power consumption of the system is limited by the satellite-based platform. The integrated target monitoring system of satellite-based AIS and ADS-B is designed. The overall system design scheme is proposed, the signal processing flow and algorithm steps of each module are explained, and the hardware design and implementation of the digital signal processing board are completed. The integrated target monitoring system design can effectively reduce the size and power consumption of the on-board load, and achieve a high degree of integration of air and sea target monitoring.
