Museums are places for collecting,collecting,displaying and researching physical objects representing natural and human cultural heritage,and providing cultural education for the public with knowledge,education and appreciation.At present,many domestic museums have problems such as similar exhibits and display methods,homogeneous design styles,and lack of regional identification.Users lack interest in the entire tour of the museum,it is difficult to resonate emotionally,and users’ satisfaction and revisit rate of the museum are relatively low.From the perspective of user experience,this research sorts users’ experience dimension preferences for different types of exhibition space in the museum by analyzing the questionnaire data.The QFD method is used to determine the corresponding optimized design elements in different types of exhibition space.In the end,targeted optimization design of different types of exhibition space is realized to meet the user’s experience requirements for different exhibition space in the museum,and increase the user’s satisfaction and revisit rate of the museum.This research comprehensively uses multi-disciplinary related knowledge and theoretical methods,and uses a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research to optimize the design of museum exhibition space.Through the questionnaire survey method,users’ experience preferences for different types of exhibition space are obtained and the experience dimension weights of each exhibition space are sorted.Based on the interview results of designers,users,museum staff and other stakeholders,the optimization design module of the museum exhibition space is determined,and the optimization design module is developed into specific optimization design elements.By establishing the House of Quality,the relationship matrix between the user experience dimension and the optimized design elements is determined,and the relationship matrix is ??combined with the experience dimension weights of different types of exhibition space,and the conversion calculation is performed.According to the transformation results,determine the importance of various optimization design elements in different types of exhibition space,and clarify the parts of different types of exhibition space that need to be optimized.Finally,the Yixing Museum is used as an example of optimization design.Based on the analysis results of the users,the optimization design elements of the museum’s different types of exhibition space are determined,and the optimization design scheme is given to verify the feasibility and rationality of the method.This study shows that the preferred experience dimension for the museum exhibition space is the emotional experience.However,there is a certain difference in the user ’s preference for the experience dimension of different types of museum exhibition space.Based on this difference,the weight ratio of each experience dimension of the museum exhibition space is calculated.Combined with the QFD method,the design elements that need to be optimized for different types of museum exhibition space can be further identified,providing an important reference and basis for designers to optimize the design of museum exhibition space.
