With the rapid development of society and economy in China,the safety problem of dams has attracted many people's attention.barrier lake can be regarded as a special and natural earth-rock dam without artificial rolling.The volume of the dam body is generally large,but the dam body is relatively loose,and the dam break accident is easy to occur under the erosion of the current.In order to analyze and study the mechanism of dam break,improve the safety degree of the dam,do safety measures in advance,the safety plan after the occurrence of risk,play the role of the dam to divert water for the benefit of the people,reasonable disposal of the barrier lake formed after natural disasters,to protect the safety of people's lives and property has become the needs of today's social and economic development.In recent years,the mechanism of dam-break and the analysis of dam-break flow have become the research focus in the field of fluid mechanics at home and abroad.In this paper,based on previous studies,use N-S equation to solve,use RNG K-turbulence model to close the equation,use VOF method to deal with the free surface,and Finite Volume Method(FVM)was used to discreze the equation to carry out two-dimensional and three-dimensional numerical simulation research on the dam-break flow simulation.Zhou's experimental model is adopted in this paper,which is based on physical analysis and reflects a high degree of conformity on the flow state and the actual situation.Finally,FLUENT software is used to simulate and analyze the process of dam break.The main contents are as follows:(1)Using 2-d numerical simulation study different dam water depth condition of total collapse and partial dam break,explore the largest dam fluid flow velocity and the maximum dynamic water pressure,the relationship between water wave propagation distance and the height of dam break water,the relationship between dam water depth and the forward propagation speed,the relationship between the size of the dyke and the flood flow,the relationship between water depth in front of the dam dam and harmfulness.(2)Using 2-d numerical simulation study different river bottom slope of dam break,different water depth behind dam in dam break,explore the relationship between the bottom slope and the dam flood transmission velocity,the relationship between the bottom slope and the forward flow velocity,the relationship between the bottom slope and the water flow,the relationship between the water depth and the changes of pressure field,the relationship between the water depth and the water line.(3)Use three-dimensional numerical simulation to study wave surface analysis and flow field analysis,and make a preliminary judgment on the damage degree of dam break by using the changes of wave surface,flow field and pressure field in the process of dam break.
