| With the development of social economy and the increasing investment of construction of highway engineering,the occurrence of highway engineering distresses become more frequent with a large scale than before.Most of the highway engineering distresses are mainly caused by the lack of judgment of various engineering geological conditions in the engineering geological investigation stage.Therefore,thorough engineering geological investigation and evaluation is a significant way to reduce highway engineering distresses,engineering construction costs and shorten engineering construction period.Obviously,the traditional highway engineering geological investigation methods and tools can not achieve a relatively satisfactory investigation effect.Traditional engineering geological investigation methods,such as drilling,pitting and deep exploration also have some limitations.They can only explore the situation of some parts of geological conditions,and can not know the overall geological situation.Besides,the high cost and long construction period are two shortages of these traditional engineering geological investigation methods.Therefore,a new survey method is needed to supplement and verify the traditional survey method.The factors and mechanisms that restrict the survival,growth and distribution of plants are analyzed and summarized in this paper and the relationship between plant landscape and properties of soil chemical,physical properties,water content and soil layer thickness are concluded also.Through the collection and analysis of some references,some common indicator plants of acid soil,calcareous soil,saline soil,indicator plants with different soil moisture content,deep root and shallow root plants in the field were concluded in this paper.Besides,by using plant natural landscape,a highway engineering geological identification method for soil chemical properties,physical properties,water content and soil layer thickness was established in this paper.This paper summarizes and studies the relationship between plant natural landscape and stratigraphic lithology.Through field investigation,the analysis of references,and the case analysis of nine different sites at home and abroad,comprehensive analysis in the form of theory combining with practice get the following conclusion:under certain climatic and environmental conditions,it is a feasible,efficient and economical auxiliary method for highway engineering geological investigation to use plant natural landscape to discriminate stratigraphic lithology.Under certain climatic conditions,the natural landscape of plants can be used to indicate stratigraphic lithology in specific regions,which breaks the traditional view that it is only applicable in arid and semi-arid regions and areas with sparse vegetation.Four models were found and summarized for the discrimination of stratigraphic lithology based on the natural landscape of plants:(1)the different models of the general ecological appearance of vegetation,(2)the different models of plant species and genera,(3)the different models of the living intensity of plants of the same species and genus,and(4)the different models of the developmental speed of the same species.This paper summarizes and studies the relationship between plant natural landscape and geological structure and geological hazards.Through field investigation,the analysis of references,this paper studies the red sandstone area and the karst area by the combination of theoretical study and practice,the following conclusions are made in this paper: in specific areas of the same climate environment,the using of plant landscape indicator of geological structure and geological disaster is a kind of feasible and efficient auxiliary method of highway engineering geological prospecting economy.As an auxiliary method and way to qualitatively distinguish geological structure and geological hazard,it is very effective in some specific conditions with the comprehensive analysis of traditional prospecting methods.In this paper,a highway engineering geological investigation method based on plant landscape was established through theoretical research,field investigation and case analysis on plant living habits,relationship between plant communities and landscape appearance.This is a simple,fast and economical engineering geological investigation method,which can supplement and verify the traditional engineering geological investigation methods.In this way,this method can comprehensively analyze and distinguish the highway engineering geological conditions from various aspects.At the same time,after theoretically study of the living habits of plants,the relationship between plant communities and landscape performance,and considering various highway environments and operating conditions,this paper established a variety selection method of plant greening based on living habits and highway environments and operating requirements.And the study summarized 24 kinds of plant types with different characteristics,and improved some deficiencies in the selection of landscape plants in highway greening design. |
