Truck scale is the main weighing instrument used by industrial and mining enterprises and transportation departments to weigh large goods.With the rapid development of electronic technology and Internet of things technology,how to improve the automation level of truck scale weighing,improve the efficiency of vehicle weighing,and save operating costs has become an urgent problem to be solved.In view of the above problems,this paper through the research and analysis of the existing truck scale weighing system,on the basis of its improvement,designs the truck scale automatic weighing system based on the Internet of things technology.The main work is as follows(1)Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the current truck scale weighing system,combined with the license plate image recognition technology and NB-Io T(Narrow Band Internet of Things)wireless communication technology,an automatic weighing system scheme which can intelligently control the weighing process is designed.The lower computer is mainly composed of license plate recognition subsystem,voice prompt subsystem,weighing subsystem and wireless data transmission subsystem.The upper computer is the weighing system management platform.(2)According to the design requirements,from the aspects of low cost,low power consumption,high efficiency,safety and reliability,complete the relevant components and technology selection of the system.Including the main control chip,image sensor,weighing sensor,wireless communication technology and PC development platform.(3)According to the system scheme,the hardware and software design of the lower computer is completed.Including license plate image acquisition,gate lifting control,weighing data acquisition,voice prompt,wireless data transmission and other related software and hardware.For the hardware part,the software part uses the modular design to write the application program,drives the hardware module to complete the corresponding functions,and realizes the automation of the weighing process by calling each module.(4)Complete the weighing system management platform software design.Using Qt5 development platform to call Open CV visual library,combined with My SQL database,complete the design of user graphical interface,serial communication and license plate recognition,which can realize real-time data display,historical data query,system settings and other functions.(5)The overall test of the truck scale automatic weighing system designed in this paper is carried out to verify whether the system performance meets the design requirements.The results show that the system runs well.
