Research On Commodity Design In Ming Dynasty Based On "History Of Ming Dynasty: Food And Merchandise"

As another prosperous period after the Tang and Song Dynasties,the Ming Dynasty showed a state of economic prosperity and social stability.With the prosperity of commodity economy in the Ming Dynasty,the traditional handicraft industry developed rapidly,especially the porcelain making industry and textile industry in private handicraft industry,which already had the rudiment of workshop handicraft industry and the foundation of modern production.Compared with the modern production in the West,the handicraft industry in Ming Dynasty still belongs to the category of traditional handicraft industry.But the handicraft industry in this period has undergone major changes within its category.Based on this,this paper,from the perspective of design,combined with Ming Shi Shi Huo Zhi and other kinds of historical materials,notes,novels,etc.,on the basis of carefully studying the text,taking Ming Dynasty goods as the breakthrough point,combining macro research with micro analysis,tries to analyze from three angles: Official handmade goods,private handmade goods and foreign goods.Combined with the special economic development of Ming Dynasty,this paper analyzes the identity of craftsman,design behavior,design concept behind the commodity design of Ming Dynasty,as well as the influence and restriction of different social environment and organizations on the design process.This paper combs the emergence,existence and development of commodity design in traditional handicraft industry in the embryonic stage of commodity economy in feudal society.This paper makes a comprehensive and extensive discussion on the special design phenomenon in Ming Dynasty,trying to summarize the characteristics of commodity design under the prosperity and development of commodity economy in Ming Dynasty,as well as the economic and social nature of commodity design behavior.
