Research On The Application Of Traditional Architectural Decorative Patterns In Modern Interior Design

Chinese traditional architectural decorative pattern is the pattern of architectural components and decorative components of ancient indoor-and-outdoor buildings.It has accumulated profound Chinese traditional culture,unique production skills and expression and rich spiritual connotation,which is worthy of our studying,inheriting and developing.But modern people's life style and aesthetic taste are quite different from the ancients',so its application is less and less in modern interior decoration,gradually losing the characteristics of national culture.This paper takes its application as the main research content,the exploration of the reasonable application method as the research purpose.First of all,this paper systematically combs the general situation of Chinese traditional architectural decorative patterns,clarifies the decorative,beautifying and psychological role played by them in ancient architectural components and decorative components,and clearly indicates the importance in ancient architectural decoration in China.This paper also discusses its current situation in the interior design industry,analyzes the main reasons why it is increasingly far away from people's lives,and illustrates its common problems such as the disconnection between meaning and application occasions,the disconnection between traditional architectural decorative patterns and modern materials as well as aesthetic taste.In order to make the architectural decorative pattern meet the aesthetic concepts and the needs of contemporary people,and transform it into the contemporary product,this paper puts forward the methods of material conversion as well as skillful use of light and shadow,gives such changeable applications as reconstruction application,mother pattern continuation,deformation meaning transmission,virtual-and-real generation,and then exemplifies the application methods and principles through specific design projects.Finally,this paper gives the prospect of the application of Chinese traditional architectural decorative pattern in modern interior design.
