Water conservancy projects and municipal projects were built to promote irrigation, prevent flooding, improve water quality, transmit and distribute water, treat and dispose used water. In this thesis, the offshore parts of buildings and structures in water conservancy engineering and municipal engineering are defined as "water related buildings",and the main task of this thesis is to study the landscape design of them.Water related buildings in water conservancy projects and municipal projects have a common characteristic, that is,the construction near water or in water is usually within the planning scope of scenic spots, tourist areas and landscape rivers.Reservoirs, dams, rivers and lakes can create important tourist attractions in the region.Water related buildings play a key role in promoting irrigation, flood control and waterlogging prevention, improving water quality, water transmission and distribution, sewage treatment and so on.Meanwhile they also contain rich and valuable landscape resources. The natural environment is beautiful and pleasant. The construction of water related buildings often creates more natural landscapes and human landscapes. In the design of water related architecture, the landscape design idea should be implanted into the whole life cycle of water related architecture design and construction.Starting from the function, nature, current characteristics and other issues of water related architecture, with the help of ecological water conservancy, ecological aesthetics, hydraulic aesthetics, modern construction techniques, landscape ecology, modern architectural aesthetics and other theories, architecture and landscape design methods should be applied,to enhance the utilization value of water related buildings in social, economic, artistic aesthetic, green ecology, leisure and entertainment. This thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, the research background, purpose and research content are summarized based on the relevant policies, development status of water conservancy and municipal engineering projects. In the second chapter, the related concepts and connotation of landscape design and ecological concept of water related buildings are analyzed to clarify the research direction, research scope and theme of this thesis,on the other hand, the existing problems are analyzed;the third chapter summarizes the research connotation of landscape design of water related architecture, and interprets its connotation through some classic cases at home and abroad;the fourth chapter is the core content of this thesis.Based on the discussion of the first three chapters, combined with the ecological concept, the principal, key method of landscape design of water related architecture is concluded. In the fifth chapter, combined with the relevant practical cases encountered in the author’s work recently, the characteristics of landscape design of water related buildings are analyzed, and the experience and inadequacy are summarized according to the gate type, landscape water type, water plant type, water tunnel type, etc. In the sixth chapter the research of this thesis is summarized, and he development prospect of landscape design of water related buildings is proposed. This thesis takes the landscape design of water related buildings as the leading line, with the help of the relevant theories in the field of architecture and landscape, introduces the concepts of aesthetics, ecology, benefit analysis, etc.,and analyzes various water related buildings in the aspects of based on the beauty of nature, realizing the beauty of form, combining the beauty of regional culture, reflecting the functional elements, and building skills,Then,it summarizes the principles and Strategies of landscape design of water related buildings, and discusses its application in practice.
