The detection of armored targets by terminal sensitive projectiles mostly adopts composite system.The active and passive composite detection of millimeter wave with cross band can effectively detect and identify armored targets with stealth coating.This paper focuses on the Ka band and W-band millimeter wave,and studies the cross band composite detection.The main contents of this paper are as follow:(1)In view of the fact that the stealth coating is often used to avoid the detection of terminal sensitive projectile for armored targets,this paper models the typical armored targets,and simulates the RCS and radiation temperature characteristics with or without stealth coating,as well as the emissivity change of stealth coating materials.According to the simulation results,the design and signal simulation of frequency division active passive composite detection system based on Ka band linear frequency modulated millimeter wave(LFMCW)detection and W-band AC full power radiometer are carried out,and the feasibility of the cross band composite detection system for stealth coated targets is verified.(2)For the cross band composite detection system,the Ka / W band active and passive composite detection signal processing algorithm is designed and implemented.By analyzing the limitation of traditional CFAR algorithm and the shortage of classical information fusion method,improved the dimensional CFAR algorithm and decision level information fusion method based on D-S evidence theory.Simulation and verified the effectiveness.(3)In order to verify the signal processing algorithm of Ka / W band active and passive composite detection,a prototype of active and passive composite detection is designed,and the target signal and identification signal of the active and passive channels of the prototype are tested through high-rise test.The experimental results verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the composite signal processing algorithm.The engineering feasibility of the algorithm is verified by tower test.The test results show that the recognition probability of Ka / W band active and passive composite detection signal processing algorithm is 10% higher than that of single system.
