As the construction of water conservancy projects continues to increase,safety monitoring of water conservancy projects has gradually attracted attention.Leakage monitoring is an important part of safety monitoring of water conservancy projects.The emergence of leakage monitoring methods based on distributed optical fiber temperature sensing systems has opened up for leakage monitoring.In a new chapter,this article studies the following:(1)Summarize the main methods of leakage monitoring,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these methods,and introduce in detail the advantages of the distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system applied to leakage monitoring.This technology can achieve long-distance and large-scale leakage.Monitoring,strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability and good durability.(2)Developed a special leakage monitoring optical cable for water conveyance channels in high-cold areas.Based on the principle of distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system and the principle of heat conduction,the theory of distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system for leakage monitoring of channels and dams was analyzed.(3)Carry out moisture content calibration test to simulate the different environments of the optical cable.Through the processing and analysis of the test monitoring data,The relationship between different soil moisture content and environmental characteristic value K is obtained,According to the K value,the approximate water content of the medium can be inferred.Through the leakage simulation test,it is found that the seepage velocity has a linear relationship with the K value,which proves that the distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system can be used for leakage monitoring.(4)Conduct an on-site leakage monitoring test in a water delivery channel in Xinjiang,formulate and implement a test plan according to the on-site environment,compare the optical cable monitoring results with the data of the pre-buried pore water pressure gauge on site,and find that the distributed optical fiber temperature sensor seepage The leakage monitoring technology can accurately monitor the occurrence of leakage,and the error is small,and the test has achieved the expected results,which provides a reliable test basis for applying the leakage monitoring technology of this study to the leakage of canal dams.
