As a renewable natural bio-material,bamboo has advantages of fast growth,good physical properties and renewable.And engineered bamboo can break through the limitations of defects such as hollow and multi section of natural bamboo on size and performance,so that the modern bamboo structure can meet the bearing requirements of modern buildings and has a broad application prospect in the near future.However,bamboo is combustible like wood.At present,the organic adhesive compounded with bamboo in engineered bamboo and bamboo itself are temperature sensitive material.The performance of adhesive will decline,and even adhesive failure will occur under high temperature environment,which greatly reduces the safety of engineering bamboo structure during fire.Therefore,our research group creatively compound natural bamboo with inorganic cement with excellent high temperature performance,and the mechanical properties of inorganic magnesium sulfate cement and inorganic composite bamboo after high temperature and the fire resistance of inorganic composite bamboo beam and column components are experimentally studied.The following aspects are included in the main part of my research content.(1)The mechanical properties of magnesium sulfate cement treated at different temperatures were tested by box resistance furnace and automatic compression and folding tester.The relationship between mechanical properties and temperature was obtained,and the mass loss,composition and micro structure changes of the samples after high temperature calcination were analyzed.(2)Through the box resistance furnace,microcomputer controlled automatic pressure testing machine and microcomputer controlled electronic universal testing instrument,the tests of compression strength parallel to grain,shearing strength parallel to grain and bend property parallel to grain of inorganic composite bamboo specimens treated at different temperatures were carried out.The mechanical properties and failure characteristics of composite bamboo after treatment at different temperatures and the variation law of basic mechanical properties of inorganic composite bamboo with temperature were obtained.(3)According to the ISO834 standard temperature rise curve,the fire resistance test of inorganic composite bamboo beam under load holding state is carried out.The fire resistance limit,mid-span deflection-time relationship,temperature field and charring rate of composite bamboo beam components are studied,and the effects of section size and load holding ratio on the fire resistance limit of composite bamboo beam are analyzed.(4)According to the ISO834 standard temperature rise curve,the fire resistance test of inorganic composite bamboo column under load holding state is carried out.The fire resistance limit,temperature field,axial deformation-time relationship and charring rate of composite bamboo column under fire were obtained.
