Carbon-related topics have become significant problems around the world as a result of global change.Forest carbon accounts for the majority of carbon storage in terrestrial environments around the world, and forest carbon sequestration capability has a direct effect on carbon dioxide concentrations and carbon stock distribution globally. This study used visual analysis based on bibliometric approaches to investigate the existing state of forest carbon storage in terms of the number of articles, journal groups, citations of important literature, and so on.This thesis began with field research in 160 forest sample plots in Hebei Province and Beijing, looking at shrub layers, herb layers, liter layers, and soil layers.Second, using Office tools and SPSS 19.0,this analysis calculated forest carbon storage and area,as well as analyzed the relationship between carbon storage and influencing factors,in order to determine the characteristics of carbon storage in warm temperate forests. Finally, after introducing visual analysis in Arcgis 10.4,this research aimed to investigate the relationships between carbon storage distribution and socioeconomic factors. There are four major findings in this report.First, according to bibliometric analysis, forest carbon research has increased dramatically in recent years, implying that carbon storage can be closely studied in order to resolve biodiversity-related problems. To be more precise, most studies are done on a large scale in the United States and China, with an emphasis on tropical forests.Furthermore, advanced technologies are gaining in popularity and are being used to explain the causes of changes in forest carbon.Second,Hebei and Beijing have a combined carbon storage capacity of 448.07Tg,with the soil layer accounting for 353.25Tg and the plant layer accounting for 94.82Tg.The regional average carbon density is 287.51Mg·hm-2,with 60.84 Mg·hm-2 in the vegetation layer and 226.67 Mg·hm-2 in the soil layer.By comparing various tree types, the birch forest has the most aboveground carbon storage and the pine forest has the highest aboveground carbon density. The carbon storage of the deep soil layer is greater than that of other areas;in the soil layer, the carbon density of birch and larch forests was the largest, reaching more than 260 Mg·hm-2,while the carbon density of Sophora japonica forest was the lowest. On the one hand, numerous conflicts in those districts and the creation of the capital in Beijing culminated in a periodic shift in the need for the forest;on the other hand, the temperature disparity between the middle-stage of the Holocene and the present resulted in significant carbon accumulation.Altitude, canopy density, population height, forest age, succession level, and human activities all influence carbon storage in warm temperate forests. The carbon storage of the soil layer is also influenced by forest type and soil quality. In Hebei and Beijing, the economy and population are concentrated in the central and southern region, but the carbon storage and density are concentrated in the northwest region. The opposite spatial distribution may be due to the high carbon storage area, dense forest distribution, difficult population aggregation and difficult economic development to scale. Most of the economically developed and densely populated areas are plain areas with broad vision.Based on the findings, new technology and practical ideas are needed to boost forest carbon research.Expanding the planting area of high-carbon-density birch, larch, and pine forests will effectively improve regional carbon storage.Altitude, vegetation density, group height, forest age, succession level, and the effects of human activity,as well as forest type and soil type, may all have a big impact on forest carbon storage. As a result, optimizing planting areas and forest management are critical for rising forest carbon storage.Furthermore, regions with high forest carbon storage have lower GDP and population density than those with low carbon storage.Northwestern Hebei, for example, has a high forest carbon storage capacity despite having a low GDP and population density.Reasonable carbon trading will have a more beneficial impact on social economy, population and environment.
