The Cephalica chuxiongnica Xiao is a kind serious harm pest for forest.It mainly damage important planation in China,such as Pinus yunnanensis,Pinus armandii Franch,Keteleeria evelyniana,Cedrus and so on.C.chuxiongnica mainly distributed in Yunnan,Sichuan,Guizhou and Guangxi provinces in the southwest region.there are few researches for the C.chuxiongnica in Bijie,Guizhou,and there are no reports on its life history,reproductive characteristics,feeding preferences and control research.In this study,the life history,occurrence rules and biological characteristics of the C.chuxiongnica were studied in Bijie,and the indoor medicament control experiment and the drone flight control experiment were carried out,through the field investigation and laboratory observation,and control experiments.This will provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for the monitoring,forecasting and control of the C.chuxiongnica in Qixingguan.And the application of drone flight control technology was first applied in the prevention and control of forestry pests in Bijie,It will provide an effective reference for the promotion of drone flight control technology in forestry pest control in the next step.The main results are as follows:1.The C.chuxiongnica has one generation in 2 years in Qixingguan of Bijie.The occurrence period of the C.chuxiongnica is later 21 months in Qixingguan of Bijie than Yunnan province.The mature larvae(pre-pupa)live through the winter and summer at 5-20 cm below the ground surface.The pupal period begins in late July,the adult emergence period is from mid-August to early September,and the egg hatch period is early September.The adults of C.chuxiongnica have the habit of laying eggs in clusters,and the larvae have the habit of swarming and branching feeding.2.The average emergence rate of the adults of C.chuxiongnica was 88.5%;The Sex ratio is 1:2;The average number of female adults lays 89 eggs,The average hatching rate is 85.62%,The C.Chuxiongnica has four instar larvae.3.The control effect of Bacillus thuringiensis WP(16000iu/mg)400 times solution,2.5%lambda-cyhalothrin EW1500 times solution and 2500 times solution,1.8% abamectin EC1000 times solution and 2000 times solution are higher than 80%.and the corrected mortality rates are 80.75%,91.85%,94.12%,100% and 100%,respectively,with Bacillus thuringiensis WP(16000iu/mg)400 times solution,2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin EW2500 times solution and 1.8% Abamectin EC2000 times solution is more suitable as a medicine for promotion and application.At the same concentration,the corrected mortality rate of the larvae in the nest was lower than that of the second-instar larvae control effect test,indicating that the control effect will be reduced after the larvae gather and feed to form a nest,and the control difficulty will increase.4.In forest,the pollution-free control test of drones showed that the corrected mortality rate of the larvae of C.chuxiongnica was 73.78%,86.98%,and 87.02% on the 3rd,7th,and15 th day after 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin was applied.the corrected mortality rate of the larvae of C.chuxiongnica was 3.71%,38.11% and 69.95% on the 3d,7d,and 15 d after that When the 15 billion spores/g Beauveria bassiana powder gun was applied in forest.and both of them were applied together,the corrected mortality rate of the larvae was 75.22%,90.53%,and95.17% on the 3rd,7th,and 15 th day afterwards.Significance analysis showed that the use of the two agents together or alternately can enhance the control effect of the C.chuxiongnica.
