Observation Of Clinical Curative Effect Of Acupuncture For Nourishing Qi And Fuzheng In The Treatment Of Acute Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture with the method of replenishing qi and strengthening the body to treat acute peripheral facial paralysis.Methods: Strictly selected 40 patients with acute peripheral facial paralysis who met the inclusion criteria,and randomly divided the patients into a treatment group and a control group,with 20 cases in each group.In the treatment group,acupuncture treatment was performed on the basis of oral mecobalamin dispersible tablets,while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture treatment on the basis of oral mecobalamin dispersible tablets.7 days constituted a course of treatment for a total of 3 courses.Before and after treatment,the House-brackmann(H-B)Facial Nerve Function Score and Grading Scale and Facial Disability Index(FDI)score records were performed on the two groups of patients,and the data were sorted,statistically analyzed and evaluated for efficacy.Results: 1.House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function score comparison:After treatment,the H-B score of the two groups was lower than before treatment,and the decrease in the treatment group was more obvious than that of the control group,and the comparison was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.FDI score comparison: The two groups used FDI score before and after treatment to evaluate the physical function and social life function of the patients.The FDIP and FDIS scores of the two groups after treatment were improved compared with before treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P< 0.01),the difference is statistically significant.3.Comparison of curative effect: The neurological function classification after treatment of the two groups was improved compared with that before treatment,and the improvement degree of the treatment group was more obvious than that of the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.01);the total effective rate of the treatment group: 95%,The total effective rate of the control group:90%.According to statistical analysis,the difference in curative effect between the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.Conclusion: Both acupuncture with Yiqi Fuzheng Method and conventional filiform needle acupuncture can improve facial nerve function and effectively help the recovery of facial expression muscle function in patients with acute peripheral facial paralysis,and the effect of Yiqi Fuzheng acupuncture treatment is more significant.
