To Explore The Essence Of The Efficacy Of Peony From The Perspective Of Xiang Thinking And "Treatise On Febrile Diseases"

In TCM clinic,peony is frequently used as one medicine.However,the efficacy of peony is mostly understood in the aspects of nourishing blood,relieving pain,and regulating Yin and soft liver.However,such description of the clinical use of peony has a sense of "knowing in the heart,but hard to understand under the finger".At the same time,when reading the ancient books,the description of peony is not the same with this.This is because under the influence of western culture,the understanding of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in modern times has gradually broken away from the original way of thinking of ancient Chinese medicine--image thinking.The thinking of image is the thinking of comparing with the kind of image has always been the soul of Chinese medicine.It has its own unique world outlook and methodology.For thousands of years,the understanding of Tibetan image,pulse image,tongue image,syndrome image,treatment principle and method,drug image and medicinal property are closely related to the thinking of image.In particular,the understanding and application of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine were summarized after the ancient people carefully observed the medicine and processed it by using the image thinking after a lot of clinical practice.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to restore the thinking mode of ancient people and deeply explore the essence of the efficacy of peony by combining the application of peony in the classic clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine "On Febrile Diseases".Firstly,the feasibility and necessity of using image thinking to explore the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine were discussed.Secondly,the contemporary researches on the efficacy of herbaceous peony in Treatise on Febrile Diseases were summarized.Then we will discuss the function of peony from the perspective of image thinking.The most important thing is to put the summarized function of peony thinking into Treatise on Febrile Diseases for further study and demonstration.Finally,jump out of the theory of febrile fever,and summarize the deep efficacy connotation of herbaceous peony again so that it can be better applied in clinical practice.
