| Purpose:To observe and compare the clinical efficacy of massage combined with acupuncture and acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of cervical type, and to compare the improvement of cervical function, pain and range of motion of the two treatment methods.to explore the mechanism of the difference in the efficacy of massage combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis,so as to provide more effective treatment and reference basis for clinical promotion.Material and Method:Sixty patients who were admitted to the Department of Encephalopathy and Orthopaedics Department of the affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).The treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of massage therapy(20 minutes)and the control group was treated with acupuncture(retaining needle for 30 minutes). The two groups were treated once a day,six days a week, one day off,for one course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment. Before and after two courses of treatment, the degree of cervical pain and cervical function were evaluated by cervical range of motion, visual analog pain(Visual Analogue Score,VAS)and cervical dysfunction index(Neck Disability Index,NDI),and the total effective rates of the two groups were calculated.Sp SS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Results:1.The data of sex, age, course of disease, syndrome type, cervical range of motion,VAS and NDI scale scores between the two groups before treatment had no significant differences.2.After 2 courses of treatment, there were significant differences in cervical range of motion,VAS and NDI scores between the two groups, and the treatment group was more significantly better than the control group. The differences of VAS and NDI scores between the two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(p < 0.05),and the treatment group was more significantly better than the control group.3.Both groups have well clinical effects, the total effective rate of the treatment group was93.33%,the control group was 86.20%,the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05),suggesting that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Simple acupuncture can improve cervical vertebra function, pain and range of motion in patients with cervical spondylosis of cervical type.2.Massage combined with acupuncture can more effectively reduce the degree of pain and improve the function and range of motion of cervical vertebrae, and the clinical effect is better than that of simple acupuncture. |
