Investigation And Analysis Of The Current Situation Of Family Language In Daur Villages

Daurs is one of the few north ethnic minorities in China,mainly distributed in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Taerbahtai Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,and Heilongjiang Province.Like so many weak languages,some Daurs people give up their native language to use Chinese.The development of language and culture become more difficult.Considering this,the paper selects Fulaerji District Hanbodai Village as an investigation point.To shift our habitual thoughts that put forward taking village community as study unit.I start with family structures to analyze the situation of using language in different family structures,the influence of family on language use should be further explored.In this paper I use some research method such as Field Investigation Method,Descriptive Method,Theory Interpretation.To discuss the influences of family structures on using language,and to find the key link of language protecting in family.The full text is divided into five parts.The Introduction.It explains the origin and significance of this topic,reviews on the previous studies,introduce the process and methods of the fieldwork.The first chapter is the general conditions of Hanbodai village’s language.Give a brief introduction of investigation point and sample,and describe the language using and words usage from three levels:person,family and community.The second chapter,the language using in different family structures.To explain the family language using in two aspects:population structures and ethnic structures.Population structures include nucleus family and stem family,and the native-speaker levels in stem families are better than that in stem family.Ethnic structures include exogamy and endogamy marriage,and the native-speaker levels in endogamy marriages are better than exogamy.The third chapter,exploring the reason of family structures’ changing.The paper analyzes the subjective and objective factors of the reason and point the tendency of family structure.The fourth chapter,exploring the influence of family structure on language using.Under the current social background,the tendency of the change of family structures can’t reverse.So it is very important to seek a balance point between language protection and family structures.
