Donald Herbert Davidson is one of the most important philosopher in the 20 th century,the theory involves a series of basic philosophical problems,a wide range of influence across the different philosophy system,he introduced in action statements logical form problem event ontology,thus on psychosomatic relation problem put forward the famous "anomalous monism.This view is mainly composed of three principles: causal interaction principle,that there is a causal relationship between mental events and physical events;The principle of the law characteristic of causality is that there is a strict determinist law between cause and effect.The illegality of the mind,that is,there is no strictly deterministic law that can assert the events of the mind.This paper mainly introduces the thought of abnormal monism systematically through the interpretation of Davidson's psychological events.His thought has a very positive influence on solving the problems of mind and matter and emergence and has an irreplaceable theoretical position.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first part introduces Davidson's theory of abnormal monism in detail,and sorts out the theory's proposal,development and demonstration.The second part expounds the main criticism and opinions given by philosophers around Davidson's abnormal monism,and Davidson's response to the criticism.The last part discusses the defects of abnormal monism and discusses its philosophical significance.
