Creation Of The Documentary "Together"

"To be together" is a documentary about the life of elderly people suffering from leprosy.The subject is the elderly people living in leprosy villages living in Fumin County,Yunnan Province.Leprosy used to be an incurable infectious disease.People would suffer from nervous and limb diseases.People talk about leprosy,but they are afraid to avoid it.Based on the field research of leprosy village in Fumin County,Yunnan Province,the author has collected and sorted out the data and materials of leprosy village,and finally completed the creation of the documentary together by referring to the relevant literature,documentary theory and the practice of other recorded images of leprosy village.With the method of documentary shooting,this paper objectively presents the living status,psychological and social return of these old people.The documentary together provides video materials for recording the current situation of leprosy elderly people's life.Meanwhile,the film also takes spreading positive energy as its own duty.The film conveys the true feelings of the elderly "together" to help each other,and the warmth of many warm-hearted people in the social family "together" with them.This paper fully describes the creation process of the "To be together" documentary,which is divided into five parts: introduction,early planning,mid-term shooting,late editing,creative summary and reflection.The introduction part mainly elaborates the background and reasons for the topic selection,the social value of the topic selection,academic research and the summary on video creation;the early planning introduces the creative ideas in the documentary.After a field investigation of Leprosy Village,this paper finally determined the theme,shooting object and narrative structure of the documentary;the mid-term shooting part mainly explains the selection and borrowing of equipment,the appointment of the shooting object and venue,and the actual shooting status and problems encountered;post-production is the summary on the three parts of the documentary material management,editing process,packaging and post-production.Finally,it summaries and reflects the whole documentary creation process.The completion of this documentary is based on theauthor's continuous learning and facing challenges,and the author has gained valuable experience from this creation.
