A Study Of Lin Sheng's Arias In The Opera "Yimeng Mountain"

Yimeng Mountain,a large-scale national opera,is jointly produced by the Propaganda Department of Shandong provincial Party committee,Shandong Provincial Department of culture and tourism,and Linyi Municipal Party committee of the Communist Party of China.Huang Dingshan,chief director of the opera,and Wang Xiaoling,screenwriter,are famous composers Luan Kai.Since its debut in December2018,it has toured more than 100 times in more than half of China.The opera is closely linked to the theme of "harmony,life and death together".It tells the story of Yimeng Mountain's army and people's fighting against the Japanese invaders during the Anti Japanese war.With real people and true feelings,it spreads the red classics,shows Yimeng spirit and stimulates people's patriotic feelings.This paper first summarizes the plot and artistic features of the opera Yimeng Mountain,so as to make everyone understand the opera as a whole,introduce the opera character Lin Sheng,and explain the relationship between Lin Sheng and other characters and the importance of Lin Sheng characters in the opera,so as to pave the way for the later research.Then,I will discuss Lin Sheng's six Arias: Sun Jiulong and Lin Sheng's you want to make her happy for a lifetime,the Quartet Haitang,let him go,the duet of Lin Sheng and Haitang's a pair of shoes and needles,the duet of Lin Sheng and Haitang's waiting for me,my dear man,the solo of Lin Sheng's love forever,and the mixed chorus of Lin Sheng's life,death,approach,Through music analysis,focusing on the structure of the aria and the trend of the melody,this paper summarizes how the composer reflects Lin Sheng's personality and mental process through music,and analyzes the singing process according to the psychological depiction of the characters,the style of music and the development of the plot.Through the analysis of the characters of Linsheng,this paper interprets the red culture of Yimeng.
