A Study Of Russian Word Stress Rules Based On Word Stress Schema

In Russian,stress places an irreplaceable role.Word stress is analogous to the soul of a word.Correct lexical stress boosts free-flowing conversations,while incorrect stress may cause ambiguity,further leading to misunderstandings within the interaction.This paper takes word stress in Russian as the research object.First,it sorts out the issues related to word stress patterns in Russian,including the characteristics and functions of lexical stress in Russian language,and the concept and expression in the framework of word stress schema.Secondly,it outlines the word stress schema in accordance with the positions of stress in nouns,adjectives and verbs(embracing their different grammatical forms).It is difficulty for learners to master word stress in Russian not only due to the complex language itself,but also the highly variable emphasis,as well as the development of the tongue and the occasions and regions where it is employed.In addition,the impact of language transfer interference cannot be underestimated.This article analyzes the above factors successively,then puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to overcome these barriers,aiming to relieve the burden of learning,avoid word stress errors,improve the phonetic accuracy,and further enhance the mentees' Russian communicative skills.This thesis consists of an introduction,a main body(Chapter 1,Chapter 2,Chapter3)and a conclusion.Among which,the introduction part presents the outcomes drawn from domestic and foreign researches,theoretical and practical significance,key difficulties and basic framework.Chapter 1 gives an overall overview of the characteristics,functions of word stress in Russian and word stress schema;Chapter 2 in a specified fashion analyzes the law of word stress in Russian nouns,adjectives,and verbs with the help of word stress schema;Chapter 3 explains the reasons why word stress in Russian causes difficulties for learners and offers corresponding suggestions.Last not but the least,the conclusion part summarizes the researches of the paper.
