Restoration And Protection Of Paper Archives In The Republic Of China

The contents of the Archives of the Republic of China are very rich,reflecting the political,economic,military,cultural,educational and natural phenomena in this period.The archives in the Republic of China period bear the characteristics of that historical period,not only possessing precious academic value,but also possessing a considerable degree of historical value,the Archives of the Republic of China reflect the local military,political,economic,and cultural development and changes,is a precious historical and cultural heritage.In this study,based on the theory of studying in school and more than two years' experience in restoring the Archives of the Republic of China,the present situation of the protection of the archives and the importance of the restoration are briefly discussed,this paper focuses on the principles and procedures of the restoration of the archives in the Republic of China,and finally discusses the protection of the archives and the possible problems and solutions in the restoration of the archives.And the combination of the instructor's words and deeds as well as work to learn the accumulation of repair practice experience.It is of great necessity and urgency to protect the archival documents of the Republic of China,which is a spiritual distillation of the protection of archival relics while studying and learning the professional skills of paper document restoration.
