This thesis takes a lacquer figurine painted with Jingmai(??)network unearthed from Shuangbaoshan Han tomb in Mianyang as the object of study, trying to discuss the artistic expression and cognition of the"body"brought by this special case beyond the common sense of ancient sculpture.Taking "body" as the breakthrough point and theoretical fulcrum, this thesis attempts to find another way for effective research on the Jingmai lacquer figurine in the history of medical research.First of all,we extract the Jingmai lacquer figurine from the unearthed context, and make a comparative analysis of its ontology in the field of art history. In this thesis, the selection of reference object is not limited to the frame of material or use,"artistic expression of body" is their greatest common divisor. With some sub concepts in the study of body history, this paper discusses why the lacquer figurine painted with Jingmai network is a theoretical body.Secondly,it examines the attention and cognition of "body" in historical literature. Finally,it goes back to the context of tomb. The relationship between destructive behavior and death is discussed from the perspective of the lacquer figurine 's "broken arm".Focusing on the various coexisting "bodies" in this tomb, such as jade body, the lacquer figurine painted with Jingmai network, pottery figurines, and wooden figurines, this study discusses the problems of form and reality, function and meaning. And then, from an extended perspective,it discusses the possession of knowledge and the shaping of identity of a noble in the Han Dynasty.
