| Yan Geling is the most influential writer in the contemporary Chinese literary world.Her novel creation has made remarkable achievements and caused quite a stir in the literary world at home and abroad.The vigorous development of mass media in the new media era has had a profound impact on literature,and the adaptation of novels to film and television dramas has become a craze.Yan Geling’s novels have been adapted into film and television dramas,which have entered the consumer market on a large scale and achieved good results in art and market.Based on this,this paper studies Yan Geling’s novels from the perspective of film and television elements,trying to answer the reason why Yan Geling’s passion,rather than other writers’ creations,is so popular in the adaptation from literature to film and television,and to think about the relationship between literature and film and television in the new media era.Chapter one: At the story level,Yan Geling has obvious popular tendency in the novel theme,theme selection and narrative strategy.First of all,Yan Geling intends to write in the evolution of rendered abnormal events,excavate the ultimate humanity in extreme environment,and cater to the audience’s aesthetic taste and consumption psychology with spectacle.Secondly,while writing women,Yan Geling focused on portraying women’s bodies and describing their passions by using the narrative strategy of desire,which is undoubtedly easier to resonate with the public.Yan Geling spoke of history from the standpoint of mass consumption.She didn’t pay attention to history itself,but only took history as the stage and background of people’s activities.History retired behind the scenes,which became the foil of expressing people’s emotions.Therefore,the value and seriousness of history were diluted and dispelled,which weakened the depth of thinking about history.Chapter two: the imaging characteristics of Yan Geling’s novels are very prominent,which are embodied in the text: strong picture awareness,including the use of a large number of colors,the rendering of scenes by light and shadow,and the use of close-up shots;Three-dimensional language description,including the use of auditory elements such as dialogue and narration;Her grasp of time and space,including the use of long shots and montage,is the result of her conscious and unconscious use of the normative features of film and television art creation in the process of literary creation.On the one hand,these imaging characteristics enrich the artistic expression of literature and improve the expressive force of literature;on the other hand,they reduce the difficulty of adapting novels into film and television dramas,thus providing great possibilities for film and television adaptation.Chapter Three: From the perspective of film and television elements in Yan Geling’s novels,this paper analyzes the relationship between literature and film and television and the advantages and disadvantages of their marriage.On the one hand,literature provides a steady stream of materials for film and television,and also becomes a powerful guarantee for film and television in artistic thought.However,film and television have expanded the living space and communication channels of literature,and the role of film and television in promoting the development of literature can not be ignored.On the other hand,in the market context,the collusion between literature and film and television also brings some hidden dangers to the healthy development of literature.In the new media era,the media is a new revolution for literature,whether it is the power of dispelling or constructing. |
