Angela Carter, one of the most important British writers of the 20 th century, has won four British literary awards, including the Maugham Literary Award. In Unnatural Narrative, theoretician Jan Albay includes Angela Carter in the study of unnatural narrative.Based on this study, the paper selects three of Carter's representative novels,The Passion of the New Eve,Night at the Circus,Dr.Hoffman's Demonic Desire Machine, and a collection of short stories,The Bloodstained Chamber and the Other Stories.Other Stories",four works present the changes of non-natural narratives in Carter's works over time, and also show Carter's deep concern for socio-cultural and political issues such as gender temperament and multiculturalism. The first is to sort out the core elements of non-natural narratives such as non-natural characters and time and space. The unnatural characters and time and space in Angela Carter's works are the concentrated manifestation of unnaturalness: in the unnatural characters, gender transgressions and identity transgressions are presented, showing that Carter's area of concern has risen from gender issues to multiculturalism;in the unnatural time, the subversion of time is highlighted, challenging the directionality, constancy and stability of time;in the unnatural space, the shift from " In the non-natural space,we show the iteration from "psychologically externalized space" to "geographically impossible space" to highlight the narrative theme. The second is to refine the basic qualities of unnatural narratives-magic,heterogeneity,and allegory. The unnatural qualities of Angela Carter's works are a matter of concern and are the distinguishing features of Carter's unnatural narratives. The magic on a poetic level, the heterogeneity that differs from the traditional British realists, and the allegorical nature with metaphorical significance together constitute Angela Carter's unique non-natural narrative qualities. In addition will present the work's identification with grotesque aesthetics and multiculturalism.Angela Carter creates the kernel of textual worlds of grotesque textual worlds and multiculturalism. These grotesque worlds present grotesque aesthetic features such as exaggerated characters, degraded depictions, and textual dissolution mechanisms, which have the function of subverting dichotomies, inspiring readers to think, and providing channels for emotional catharsis. At the same time,Carter's own tendency toward multiculturalism makes the novel's narrative content and personal philosophical philosophy unified at the level of antidualism. The grotesque aesthetic and multiculturalism constitute an unnatural narrative world that adapts from aesthetic style to philosophical philosophy. Finally,Angela Carter's own experiences are to be explored.Angela Carter's unnatural narratives are influenced by multiple influences: the tradition of British unnatural narratives, the cultural impact of her sojourn abroad, and the influence of the anti-realist era.Angela Carter draws inspiration from her own experiences, where traditional narrative approaches solidify gender and class identities, and her goal to rebel against established narrative norms dovetails with the idea of non-natural narrative.Under the influence of history and culture,Angela Carter inherits the British tradition of non-natural narratives, responding to socio-political and cultural issues such as gender and species with non-natural narratives, and insists on refusing to imitate reality at the textual level, resisting identity playing and gender temperament solidification at the real level, and resisting the statification of the real world.Angela Carter's conscious choice of unnatural narratives shows a new way for postmodern writers to use texts to resist reality and express her expectation of a non-identical and pluralistic world.
