Electronic music is the product of economic development and technological progress.With the implementation of the national reform and opening-up policy,China has had more opportunities and possibilities to exchange and learn from the West and other countries in the field of music art.With the continuous maturation of computer music tools and the development and introduction of music equipment,the first batch of excellent electronic music works appeared in China in the 1980 s and 1990 s.In this paper,we will compare and analyze the composition techniques of two excellent hybrid electronic music works from this period.These are: "Tai-2 for Flute,Xiao and Electronic Music" composed by Professor Xu Shua in 1991,and "Ging,a Symphonic Tone Poem for Bass Flute and Electronic Music" composed by Professor Zhang Xiaofu in 1988(there are two versions of this work,the old and the new version of "Ging" will be compared and analyzed in this paper.)These two works,as pioneering masterpieces in the history of Chinese electronic music,combine traditional Chinese folk instruments with modern computer music technology,which makes Chinese electronic music compositions different from previous electronic music works in Europe and North America,forming a unique style.It is a pioneering work that combines traditional Chinese folk music instruments with modern computer music technology.
