The Creation And Explanation Of The Documentary "Ancient Rhyme And New Voice"

The ‘New Voices of Ancient Rhymes’,an intangible cultural heritage documentary of Chaohua blowing song is themed on the folk instrumental ensemble art ‘Chaohua blowing song’.With Wang Guoqing,a national intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Chaohua blowing song,and Song Junzhong,a provincial intangible cultural inheritor of Chaohua blowing song,in Chaohua Town,Xinmi City,Henan Province as the filming subjects,it tells the story of the intangible cultural heritage inheritors of this art form by spanning the dimensions of time and space,and on this basis shows the historical background,inheritance,predicaments and future development of Chaohua blowing song.This paper elaborates on the actual research and creation process of the documentary‘New Voices of Ancient Rhymes’.By combining theory with practice and seeking truth from facts,it discusses in detail in five parts,namely,literature analysis,topic planning,pre-shooting,post-editing and creation summary.Chaohua blowing song has the special attribute of human-art coexistence,and at the same time faces natural and man-made disappearance.To this end,the author chooses to record Chaohua blowing song in the form of documentary,to trigger the audiences’ reflection by ‘real people,real deeds,and true feelings’,to call for practical actions and social responsibilities with images as carriers,so as to record and preserve the memories of the times.Meanwhile,documentaries bear the responsibility of memory salvage,can inspire people to inherit and protect culture,and achieve audiovisual combination.Due to the extreme scarcity of literature,the author attempts to use the artistic techniques of documentary to objectively record the origin and characteristics of the formation of Chaohua blowing song,the life of the inheritors,and the inheritance activities in recent years.In this way,the shooting of documentary will make up for the insufficiency of this intangible cultural heritage in the video record,help promote and protect the art form,and thus expect to achieve better inheritance and development.
