A Study Of "cartoonized" Modeling Language In American Graffiti Art

In the 1960 s,New York provided fertile soil for the avant-garde and creativity of art.The prosperity of national economy promoted the prosperity of culture,and the trend of art began to turn to the United States.From the late 1970 s to the early 1980 s,graffiti entered the vision of contemporary American artists,resulting in a more life-oriented art attitude than pop art,and an endless stream of new categories of art,bringing a more open state to the United States.Graffiti art is often defined by critics as the pronoun of popular,commercial,popular,entertainment and consumer culture.Graffiti art focuses on the transmission of relaxed,free,active and full of tension of the spiritual power,which is in line with the postmodern art often in a humorous and lively style to convey the spiritual appeal of the way of expression.The formation of American Graffiti "cartoon" modeling language is influenced by pop art,dada art and abstract expressionism.American Graffiti Art and other countries in Europe,Asia and other forms of graffiti art style has obvious uniqueness.By combing the background and development of graffiti art,this paper studies the characteristics of modeling language,symbolism and spirituality of American graffiti artists,and further explores the "cartoon" modeling language characteristics in American Graffiti Art,revealing its impact.In the study,we found that the modeling language of American graffiti artists is highly personalized,and the "cartoon" painting language presented by these artists has different forms of expression.They create new cartoon images by deconstructing,reconstructing,misappropriating,exaggerating and other means of cartoon graphics,and then recreate the cartoon images with subjective painting language,which is flat It has the artistic characteristics of writing.By exploring the inherent meaning of "cartoon" graphics,we can have a deeper understanding of the spirit of artists' works.This paper summarizes the typical characteristics of cartoon modeling language of American graffiti artists,hoping to provide more theoretical basis and practical reference for graffiti art lovers.
