Teaching language is a compulsory basic skill for every teacher.The type of vocabulary,sentence pattern,and discourse markers that teachers use in the classroom have a great influence on students' Chinese learning.For most novice teachers who are just starting to teach Chinese as a foreign language,it is their purpose to reach the standards of mature teachers in terms of professional skills through unremitting efforts.Therefore,every novice teacher needs to improve himself from different professional dimensions,among which the ability to use the teacher language should not be underestimated.To accurately learn the difference between mature teachers and novice teachers in the use of teaching language,first it's necessary to conduct quantitative analysis in the selection of vocabulary,sentence patterns and discourse markers between master teachers and novice teachers.After conducting analysis of teaching language,it is clear to see the difference between the two types of teachers.In addition,it is also significant to explore the reason of the selection of the above three categories,and find out the root causes in order to offer proposals.In this paper,classroom observation,quantitative analysis,in-depth interviews and questionnaires are used to collect and analyze the teaching language between two mature teachers and two novice teachers from three categories.Based on the above means,we will analyze the difference between the two types of teachers through the frequency of vocabulary,sentence patterns and discourse markers that being used.By in-depth interviews,we will know the teachers' feelings at the time,and questionnaires the real feelings of students.The purpose of this paper is to acquire teaching language enlightment and try to put forward suggestiones through the analysis of the selection and the use of vocabulary,sentence patterns and discourse markers between master teachers and novice teachers in the Chinese classroom.We hope every Chinese teacher who work in the front line can realise the significance of the selection of vocabulary,sentence patterns and discourse markers,so as to strengthen their ability of self-administration.Thereby they can perfect their teaching language and teaching quality in the Chinese classroom to achieve good teaching results.
