In daily life,decision-making is everywhere, accompanied by advice from others.Recommendation adoption is very important in optimizing decision-making.The characteristics of decision-makers are one of the important factors affecting advice adoption. The influence of anxiety in the characteristics of decision-makers on advice adoption is still unclear and needs to be further explored. At the same time, most of the previous studies focused on advice adoption, while less attention was paid to the previous part of advice adoption, namely, the evaluation of advice quality. In view of this, this study starts with the evaluation of advice quality, based on the classic judge-advisor-system paradigm(JAS),and uses the decision task close to daily life to replace the previous estimation task, respectively to explore the influence of anxiety and advice type on the evaluation of advice quality under the conditions of no initial decision and with initial decision. The pre-experiment is mainly to select experimental materials for the formal experiment.Firstly, solutions were collected for three experimental scenarios, and then the participants were invited to rate the quality of different solutions in each scenario.According to certain criteria, the solutions that meet the requirements are selected as the advices in the formal experiment. In Study 1,a mixed experimental design was used to explore the effects of decision-maker's anxiety and advice type on the evaluation of advice quality without initial decision-making.The results showed that,in the face of reasonable advices, anxiety subjects scored higher than neutral subjects in the quality evaluation of advices, while for unreasonable advices, there was no difference between anxiety subjects and neutral subjects in the quality evaluation score;whether anxiety group or neutral group, the quality evaluation of reasonable advices was higher than that of unreasonable advices. In Study 2,a mixed experimental design was used to explore the effects of decision-maker's anxiety and advice type on advice quality evaluation and advice adoption behavior under the condition of initial decision-making.The results show that the main effect of anxiety and advice type is significant, but the interaction effect is not significant. The experimental results of advice quality assessment and advice adoption behavior are consistent.Based on the results of Experiment 1 and Experiment 2,the following conclusions can be drawn as follows:(1)The decision makers of anxiety emotion have higher quality evaluation of advices than those with neutral emotions, and the decision makers of anxiety mood have more behaviors of adopting advices.(2)The decision makers are more willing to adopt reasonable advices than unreasonable advices.(3)In the case of initial decision was not triggered, when faced with reasonable advice, the anxiety group evaluated the quality of advice higher than the neutral group; When faced with unreasonable advice, the anxious group rated the quality of the advice as low as the neutral group.(4)In the case of initial decision, when faced with reasonable advice, the anxiety group evaluated the quality of advice higher than the neutral emotion group; When faced with unreasonable advice, the anxious group also rated the quality of the advice higher than the neutral group.(5)When the anxiety condition is induced, the evaluation of reasonable advice quality is higher than that of the individuals with initial decision, and the evaluation of unreasonable advice quality is lower.
