Objective:Based on the dual attitude theory,this study comprehensively investigated the relationship among childhood psychological abuse,connectedness to nature and body appreciation,and explored whether connectedness to nature plays a moderating role in the relationship between childhood psychological maltreatment and body appreciation.Methods: This study is divided into two parts.The first part of this study used questionnaire method to investigate the incidence of psychological maltreatment childhood psychological maltreatment foreign explicit body appreciation,the influence of explicit regulation of connectedness to nature.A sample of 999 undergraduate and graduate students of two universities in Harbin were recruited as survey subjects to test the Childhood Psychological Maltreatment Scale,Natural Connectedness Scale and Body Appreciation Scale-?.The second part of this study used experiment to explore the influence of A on the level of implicit body appreciation and the moderating role of implicit connectedness to nature.According to the score of psychological abuse scale,56 participants were selected from the abuse group.In the control group,58 participants participated in the implicit connectedness to nature test and implicit body appreciation test.Results:(1)There was negative correlation between Childhood psychological maltreatment and explicit body appreciation.Specifically,the higher the score of childhood psychological maltreatment,the lower the level of explicit body appreciation.(2)There was positive correlation between explicit connectedness to nature and explicit body appreciation.Specifically,the higher the score of explicit connectedness to nature,the higher the level of explicit body appreciation.(3)Explicit connectedness to nature moderated the reletion between childhood psychology maltratment and explicit body appreciation.The level of explicit body appreciation of individuals with high explicit connectedness to nature increased significantly as the degree of childhood psychology maltratment decreased,while the level of explicit body appreciation of individuals with low connectedness to nature did not increase significantly as the degree of explicit connectedness decreased.(4)Implicit connectedness to nature effect was observed in both the abuse group and the control group.(5)The result of experiment showed that the interaction between childhood psychological maltreatment and implicit body appreciation was not significant.(6)The results of experiment showed that the interaction between implicit commectedness to nature and implicit body appreciation was significant.Specifically,the higher the score of implicit connectedness to nature,the higher the level of implicit body appreciation.(7)There was no correlation between childhood psychological maltreatment and implicit body appreciation.(8)There was positive correlation between implicit connectedness to nature and implicit body appreciation.Specifically,the higher the score of implicit connectedness to nature,the higher the level of implicit body appreciation.Conclusion:(1)Childhood psychological maltreatment had a negative effect on college students' body appreciation at explicit level.Childhood psychological maltreatment can reduce the level of explicit body appreciation of college students.(2)Connectedness to nature had a positive promotion effect on college students' body appreciation at both explicit and implicit level.Connectedness to nature can increase the level of body appreciation of college students.(3)The influence of childhood psychological abuse on explicit body appreciation of college students was moderated by explicit natural connection,and the influence was significant only under high natural connection,but not under low natural connection.
