This article is an exposition of the creative practice process of the electronic music and video work "Bound·Interpretation".The creative theme of this work is inspired by Zhang Ailing's novel "Blockade".The "blockade" in the story is very similar to people's thirst for desire in modern society,and they want to be released but are suppressed by reality.So he found a utopian "blocked" world to release his desires.Based on the inspiration of the creative theme,"Bound · Interpretation" chooses to use the means of music,the means of sound,and the visual presentation to metaphorize this realistic theme and explore the state of the human spiritual world.Using a more abstract and free method to express the struggle between the self and the id,the metaphorical relationship between human nature and society in the novel has evolved into a form of audio-visual fusion,and finally presented in the form of a combination of electronic music and video.The sound design of this work obtains the initial sound materials and sound samples that can be used to shape the work through the selection of sound sampling and sound library timbre,and deforms the sound through the use of effects,and obtains more suitable for building " Bound·Interpretation" the sound of electronic music structure.In the organization and development of sound materials,in order to facilitate the construction and narration of sound materials,sound materials are classified,including ambient sound,character sound,plot sound and symbolic sound.Use the sound materials in the sound classification to start building the music story of "Bound·Interpretation".At the same time,it analyzes the relationship between sound and picture and how visual image assists sound narration with examples of visual images.After the construction of the work is completed,it is divided into four parts: "Introduction","Bound and Blockade","Breakthrough and Prying",and "Reality and Mediocrity" to analyze the sound and video structure of "Binding·Interpretation".
