The Indo-Pacific strategy has focused on India as both the center and hub of ever since its introduction and has actively united Japan,Australia, and ASEAN countries, forming opposition to China in the South China Sea issue as well as creating tension in the Indo-Pacific or Asia Pacific economy and security. With regard to the U.S's warm invitation,India makes a positive outlook and has incorporated it with its “Act East” foreign policy : participating in the US Japan Australia security dialogue mechanism(Quad/Quad+),actively entering into multiple military cooperation agreements and intelligence sharing agreements with the U.S.,and actively entering in trade arrangements with the United States, and eventually providing help for the United States to reconstruct its economic order in the Indo-Pacific / Asia Pacific region.India's such deep involvement in the strategic arrangements of major powers outside the territory in the Indo-Pacific cannot help but trigger external questioning and worries in relation to Sino-Indian relationship, for India's docking to the Indo Pacific strategy is conducted in the context of strategic competition between China and the United States, and how India balances between China and the United States not only relates to whether the Sino-Indian relation will create a cleft on that matter, but also to the stability of the Indo-Pacific / Asia Pacific region. The paper mainly probes the impact and challenges of the Indo-Pacific Strategy on the Sino-Indian relations.Since the Modi government came into power,Sino Indian relations have shown a trend of "high opening and low moving".In the face of the cooperation between the Obama administration and the Trump administration,India has basically embraced actively.India's strategy of embracing the United States is mainly based on the following considerations: first, the increase in defense and military cooperation arrangements between India and the United States and the resumption of the security dialogue mechanism among the four countries will help to enhance India's military strength and enhance its regional influence;second, the economic deployment of the Indian Pacific strategy is basically in line with China's "belt and road" initiative, which will weaken China's "belt and road" initiative to a certain extent. The impact of the initiative in the region;third,India can take more confrontational actions in its China policy with the support of the US political and economic aspects,so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting India's position in China Indian relations. However, the risks and operational difficulties faced by India in choosing to "collude" with the United States to check and balance China's development are very high.In this regard,India is also aware of the importance of maintaining strategic autonomy and coolness. While controlling its contacts with the United States,it continues to develop its relationship with traditional partners such as Russia,Iran and Afghanistan. In general, with the further deterioration of Sino-US relations in the near future, the continuous closeness of Sino-US relations and the escalation of Sino-Indian border conflicts, the risk of confrontations of Sino-Indian Relations under the Indo-Pacific strategy will intensify.
