After 2008,under the impact of the financial crisis, the consumption of the war on terror, the enhancement of China's comprehensive national strength and other factors, the United States fell into power dilemma and strategic anxiety.Based on the dual importance of China and the Asia-Pacific region, from "Rebalance to Power" to "Indo-Pacific Strategy",the strategic center of gravity of the United States gradually shifted eastward. From the definition of strategic objectives to the change of the primary threat to the choice of strategic means, the strategic design of the Trump administration's "Indo-Pacific Strategy" revolves around China.America's strategic focus on Russia has been offset by a rise in Chinese strength and influence. However, under the negative influence of the financial crisis and the Ukraine crisis,Russia's geopolitics extends to the Asia-Pacific region and accelerates the "Turn to the East" process. With the deepening of the strategic concept of "the Greater Eurasian Partnership",Russia's interests in the Asia-Pacific region has gradually deepened and expanded.Based on an assessment of Asia-Pacific interests,Russia can not ignore the Trump administration's Asia-Pacific strategy. From the definition of objectives, the change of primary threat and the choice of means, the Asia-Pacific strategy of the United States shows the characteristics of continuity and stability. Moreover, judging by the strategic signals that the Biden's administration has unleashed,America's regional strategy will continue to integrate resources to balance China's influence and preserve America's global dominance. Therefore, the impact of the US Asia-Pacific strategy on Russia will be long-term and lasting.Russia should take appropriate measures to balance the negative impact of the US Asia-Pacific strategy, ease the external pressure on the development of Asia-Pacific diplomacy, and enhance Russia's strategic position. This paper combs the definition of Trump's Asia-Pacific strategic goal, the change of the primary threat and the choice of strategic means, evaluates the Russian elements in "Indo-Pacific Strategy" and clarifies the impact of the Strategy on Russia.Explore Russia's domestic understanding and response to "Indo-Pacific Strategy",and finally propose possible measures to respond to the negative impact of the Asia-Pacific strategic continuity on Russia.
