Research On Privacy Protection Of Video Users

We are in the era of big data and artificial intelligence widely used,and the new technology has brought people the convenience that can not be imagined before.In this era,everyone’s personal information has a high value of utilization.Due to the progress of science and technology,the computing and storage capacity of big data have been greatly improved,which can record the user’s words and deeds on the network,and accurately identify individuals in many seemingly de identity data through intelligent algorithm,and the privacy leakage problem is becoming more and more serious.At the same time,as the second largest Internet application type with the second largest number of users,the Internet video app has been infringing frequently in the process of user use.The importance of personal data makes it a hot issue in recent years,and the protection of user personal information has become the focus of attention.Privacy policy is issued by the platform party.When users want to use platform related services,the text content will be displayed through the pop-up box,and will take effect after the user reads and checks the relevant options.As a normative text of platform self-discipline,it is related to the common interests of platform and users,and to a certain extent,it is an important tool for the platform to show its attitude towards privacy protection.Therefore,more and more attention has been paid to the issues of whether the privacy policy is in compliance with the law and whether it can effectively protect the privacy of users.Based on this background,this study takes privacy policy as observation point,and evaluates the status quo of user privacy protection by examining the quality of network video app privacy policy.The paper analyzes the privacy policy text content of 16 online video apps ranking top in IOS mall by using text analysis and comparative analysis,explores the current situation and differences of these apps in the aspects of user information collection,use,storage and sharing,and finds the gap between the protection of the existing privacy policy texts and the expectations of users in the actual application,Find out the problems and find the deficiencies.After analysis and comparison,it is found that the text level of these privacy policies is uneven,the content of the text is generally complex and difficult to understand,the overlord clause still exists,and the text content needs to be further improved.In addition,although some websites have high-quality privacy policies,there are frequent personal information infringement problems in practice,which indicates that the quality of privacy policy is not necessarily proportional to the level of practical protection.The second part of the study,to ensure the effective implementation of the privacy policy of the network video platform to put forward reasonable improvement suggestions,trying to provide some reference for the formulation of privacy terms to meet the interests of both the platform and users.
