Poetry is a splendid treasure of Chinese traditional culture.Poetry teaching plays an indispensable role in Chinese teaching.The development of Chinese teaching can not be separated from the interpretation and analysis of the text language.Reading the poetry text carefully is helpful to grasp the beauty of the rhyme,the beauty of the words and the beauty of the emotions.In the teaching process of poetry,teachers’ own literary literacy is indispensable.They need to be hard in fighting against iron.Teachers should read the text carefully,improve the ability of reading the text,select appropriate teaching content,carry out solid teaching activities,better stimulate students’ interest in ancient poetry,improve students’ aesthetic ability and the level of appreciation of ancient poetry,so as to improve the comprehensive ability of Chinese.At present,there are some problems in the teaching of poetry,for example,the interpretation of poetry text is superficial and general,not concrete and in-depth;it fails to reflect the stylistic characteristics of poetry,and there are deviations in the interpretation of poetry content.Therefore,it is a good idea to make full use of the method of text close reading in the teaching of poetry.The method of text close reading is mainly used in the criticism and appreciation of literary texts.Domestic scholars introduced it into China and established a new method of text interpretation in combination with middle school textbooks.The emergence of the method of close reading further enriched the content of Chinese teaching,not only for poetry,but also for prose,drama and other articles Based on the brief introduction of the text reading method and the significance of poetry teaching,combined with the characteristics of poetry style,the author takes the opportunity of writing papers to provide some ideas for the practice of junior middle school ancient poetry class.This paper discusses the teaching of Chinese poetry in junior middle school mainly from three aspects as follows:First,the problems and reasons in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school.The ancient poetry of junior middle school Chinese occupies a relatively high proportion in the text of the whole learning section,which is a relatively easy to understand style.It is precisely because its form and content are relatively simple.In the poetry teaching,the explanation of the text floats on the surface,the content of the poetry is only in the form,and the teaching method follows the old.Based on the above problems,the author thinks that the reasons for this situation are:Teachers’ professional quality needs to be improved,teaching and scientific research awareness is not strong,teaching methods need to be innovated,and classroom learning methods are single.This paper determines the theoretical basis of poetry teaching in middle school from the perspective of text reading.In this part,the author traces back to the source of the study of the close reading of the texts at home and abroad,and sums up the main concepts of the theory of interpreting poetry,including irony,paradox,obscurity,comparison and reduction.Third.In this part,we discuss the application of close reading of the text in the specific situation of poetry,and divide the interpretation of poetry into the following steps: learning the rhyme,entering the emotion because of the sound,laying a good foundation for entering the text;knowing people and discussing the world,understanding the background,and connecting with specific events are the basis of sincere and credible emotion;digging and grasping the image,laying the emotion,and projecting the abstract emotion on the specific image It is the ancient people’s way to express their feelings;analyze the meaning and go deep into the text,so as to grasp the beauty of the poetry;interpret theemotions,understand the poet’s emotional changes from the outside to the inside,and internalize them into their own emotional experience;at last,take < when did this glorious moon begin to be > and <Travelling Is Hard>as an example to design the detailed reading process of poetry teaching.
