The construction of cognitive models can help students transform scattered knowledge into systematic and structured knowledge, and is an important tool to promote students to transform knowledge into abilities. The wide variety of organic compounds, complex structures, and cumbersome organic reactions have led to obstacles for students in learning organic chemistry."Composition and structure determine properties" is the core idea of organic chemistry. Therefore,we use this idea as a guide to construct a cognitive model of organic compounds. The purpose of the research is to promote students to understand the structure and properties of organic compounds and to promote the learning of organic compounds. On the basis of reviewing the chemistry teaching research of cognitive model construction and the teaching research of organic compounds,a cognitive model of organic compounds is constructed to guide students to understand the structure of organic compounds from four perspectives: carbon skeleton, functional group, spatial structure, and interaction. The functional group determines the type of reaction, the spatial structure determines the symmetrical chirality, the covalent bond determines the reactive site, and the intermolecular force determines the physical properties. There are four ways to understand the properties of organic matter. At the same time, based on the different academic requirements of the curriculum standards for organic compound knowledge, the specific connotations of the organic compound cognitive model in the compulsory and optional compulsory stages are defined. Then, based on the cognitive model of organic compounds, taking the compulsory "ethanol" and the optional compulsory "alcohols" as examples, the cognitive model-based compulsory ethanol teaching design and the selective compulsory alcohol teaching design were carried out.In order to test the teaching effect based on the cognitive model of organic compounds, teaching practice research was carried out in the first year and second year of high school.Practical results show that teaching based on the cognitive model of organic compounds can help students form a multi-angle and comprehensive understanding of the structure and properties of organic compounds, and can promote a better understanding of organic compounds. The organic compound cognition model constructed in this research can not only guide teachers in the design of organic teaching based on the cognition model, but also serve as a scaffold for students to understand the structure and properties of organic compounds, forming ideas and methods for understanding organic compounds. |
