Derivative plays a very important role in mathematics teaching system.It is not only the focus of college entrance examination,but also the important basic concept of calculus.The study of derivative is helpful for students to understand the nature of function and the meaning of tangent line at some point.It is also conductive to drawing function image,developing students' function thought,training students' abstract ability and logical thinking.What's more,it helps students experience classification and integration,finite and infinite mathematical thought,and master the mathematical thought method of combining number and form.Derivative is widely used in other fields.Learning derivative well also contributes to learning other natural subjects,such as physics and chemistry,and laying a solid foundation for further study after entering higher education.Derivative involves many abstract concepts which students have some difficulties in understanding,so inevitably there are some problems in its teaching and learning.Through consulting the literature,sorting out the existing research,this paper has a preliminary understanding of the derivative in senior high school,carries on the questionnaire survey to the senior high school students,extracts some teachers to carry on the discussion interview at the same time.On this basis,combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standard for derivative teaching under the new curriculum reform,the optimization teaching strategy is given.Practice optimized strategy in practical teaching,design some teaching cases for reference in hope of helping the majority of teachers derivative teaching,so that students can better learn derivative and develop the core literacy of mathematics.
