With the publication of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards of General High Schools(2017)in 2018,mathematical modeling is seen as one of the six mathematics key competencies.Mathematical modeling has both scientific value and educational value, which is of great significance to improve the comprehensive quality of mathematics of high school students. The research shows that the factors influencing mathematical modeling ability and mathematical modeling academic achievement include motivation,attitude,self-monitoring level, creativity level, mathematical modeling emotion, mathematical modeling belief,meta-cognition knowledge experience, etc. There are non-intellectual factors such as motivation, attitudes, emotions and beliefs.Non-intellectual factors can initiate, regulate and maintain learning. This study will explore the correlation between non-intellectual factors and mathematical modeling competencies,in order to provide data basis for considering the training of mathematical modeling competencies of high school students from the perspective of non-intellectual factors. In this study,376 high school students in Tongren city were tested for their mathematical modeling competencies and surveyed by non-intelligence factors, using a qualitative and quantitative research method based on literature analysis and measurement survey.SPSS19.0 software was used for descriptive statistical analysis,non-parametric analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis,etc..There are the following results:1.The average mathematical modeling competencies of senior high school students is between Level 2 and Level 3,which is specifically manifested as the ability to identify realistic situations and certain variables, and to put forward some mathematical problems, but it is difficult to transform realistic models into mathematical models;with a significant gender difference.2.The non-intelligence factors of high school students were in the middle level, and there was a significant gender difference; There were also significant gender differences in the dimensions of motivation, emotion, will and personality of non-intellectual factors.3.The correlation coefficient between non-intelligence factors and mathematical modeling competencies of senior high school students is 0.796,which shows a significant correlation. The five main dimensions of non-intelligence factors are significantly correlated with the mathematical modeling competencies of senior high school students, and their magnitude in order are motivation(0.625),affective emotion(0.606),attitude(0.570),will(0.479)and personality(0.400).4.The non-intellectual factors and their various dimensions have different degrees of positive effects on the mathematical modeling competencies of senior high school students. The unitary linear regression equation of non-intelligence factors and mathematical modeling competencies and the multiple linear regression equation of various dimensions of non-intelligence factors and mathematical modeling competencies of senior high school students are as follows:y1=0.03x-5.56y2=0.370x1+0.341x2+0.207x3+0.215x4+0.183x5+0.219...
