As the basic material of language,vocabulary is the basis for learning a second language.The learner's vocabulary is very important for language learning.However,students learn limited vocabulary in class time,and cannot acquire a large amount of vocabulary knowledge to expand their vocabulary.Therefore,we should also pay attention to the field of incidental vocabulary acquisition and explore ways to accumulate vocabulary from many aspects.Based on this,this research attempts to use "audiovisual materials"——cartoons in Chinese classroom teaching.Based on the theory of"Involvement load",three tasks are designed and implemented in class,and then different involvement loads of tasks are tested through an improved vocabulary scale.Measure the vocabulary with the results of the acquisition,describe the results and analyze the reasons,and finally put forward some suggestions for applying these tasks to the classroom.This research aims to verify the effectiveness of the "Involvement Load Hypothesis",and attempts to supplement the role of the "Involvement load" factors in the audio-visual model;at the same time,it also proposes effective practice tasks and teaching for improving the efficiency of incidental vocabulary acquisition in audio-visual classes Suggest.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction.It first introduces the reason for the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research;then it explains the process research of incidental vocabulary acquisition and its current research status in the second language circle,discusses the research of incidental vocabulary acquisition under the audio-visual model,and The research on the "Involvement load" in the incidental vocabulary acquisition;finally,the research content and research methods of this article are explained.The second part is the analysis of the feasibility of the study and the key and difficult points of its implementation.It analyzes the feasibility of the study from five aspects:experimental objects,audio-visual materials,task settings,vocabulary settings and experimental procedures,and focuses on the implementation of teaching experiments.Predictive analysis was carried out on the difficulties.The third part carries out experiments based on the design of the research,describes and analyzes the experimental data,and expounds the evaluation of the experiment and the inspiration for teaching accordingly.First of all,based on the experimental objects,determine the experimental materials from the four aspects of the selection of video materials,the determination of target words,the setting of tasks and the setting of vocabulary measurement tools,and make sufficient preliminary preparations,and then implement them in the classroom.Secondly,after the experiment,collect the test results of the students,describe and analyze the impact of involvement load on the incidental vocabulary acquisition,and then further describe the impact of the involvement load on the receptive and productive vocabulary incidental acquisition.And analysis.Finally,on the basis of previous researches,it sorts out,summarizes and analyzes the experimental process and conclusions,reflects on the deficiencies in the research,and proposes vocabulary teaching suggestions accordingly.The fourth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results,innovations and shortcomings of this article.
