In this study,through the adaptation of the "Questionnaire for Middle School Students’ Biological Learning Process",the survey was conducted on two parallel classes in the eighth grade of Zhaoyang District No.2 Middle School before and after the semester.According to the pre-test results of the questionnaire survey and the literature research on deep learning and problem solving,I have combined my teaching experience and the suggestions of the biology teacher of our school and summed up the teaching principles of problem solving to promote the deep learning of biology in junior high school,and I have constructed a general teaching process based on problem solving to promote the deep learning of biology in junior high school.In addition,the teaching design cases are displayed in the three sections of "Animal Movement","Distribution of Bacteria and Fungi",and "Dominance and Recession of Genes".After four months of problem solving teaching attempts,I have combined with the analysis of the results of the student post-test questionnaire and the observation of changes in students’ classroom learning behaviors,it is found that students’ ability to construct and integrate biological knowledge,apply knowledge,rational thinking,reflection,and evaluation has improved to a certain extent.Using statistical software to compare and analyze,it can be seen that there are significant differences in the academic performance of the two classes,and the experimental class is better.Therefore,it is practical and feasible to integrate the teaching model of problem-solving with the concept of deep learning,problem-based teaching in biology classrooms can effectively improve students’ learning methods and learning process,and it can also improve students’ academic performance and learning effect.The use of the teaching model of problem-solving is positive for the promotion of students’ deep learning,and it also provides the reference for the following teachersto carry on the deep learning theory research.
