The performance and cultivation of children's good moral character has always been the focus of attention of the society,educators and parents.Children's peer care behavior is an active behavior of caring and caring for others,which is a prominent symbol of good moral character.Meanwhile,mixed-age regional games provide a platform for children to care for others more fully.This study mainly used the observation method,supplemented by the interview method to explore the performance of children's peer caring behavior in mixed-age area games,and obtained its characteristics.Selection of mixed-age regional game open and relatively forming and characteristic of the garden for many years,in the area of mixed age games open time collecting recorded the events of 65 young children peer behavior,including small,middle shift,large three age class,through the study of the statistical analysis of the collected data and children's companion caring behavior of rendering,there are differences in the sender and receiver of children's peer care behavior in different regions,different ways of response,different ages and different genders,as well as differences in the five dimensions of praise behavior,encouragement behavior,help behavior,humility behavior and comfort behavior.The characteristic results are as follows:In the overall distribution and performance,children's peer caring behaviors in mixed-age regional games were more likely to occur in physical games.The response mode is mainly positive response;In terms of age,the sender was more middle class children;Gender is more likely to happen between girls.Specific performance,praise behavior,the sender is more for middle class children,the recipient is more for girls;Encouraging behavior,senders are more for older children,girls are more likely to be senders and receivers;Helping behavior,more occurred in physical games,more with positive expression and positive language response,the sender is more for middle class children,the recipient is more for middle class children and girls;Modest behavior,more occur in the middle class and small class between children,sent more for the girl;Comfort behavior was more likely to occur in physical play,more likely to respond in positive verbal ways,more likely to occur among middle class children,and more likely to be sent by boys.Based on the characteristics and causes of the study,the following educational suggestions are proposed:pay attention to the overall design of games in mixed-age areas,encourage children to actively respond to peer care behavior,paying attention to the cultivation of children's peer care behavior in small and large classes,and cultivate children's peer care behavior based on gender differences.
