High school students are often accompanied by the emergence of problem-solving errors in mathematical problem-solving.It is inevitable for students to make mathematical problem-solving errors in mathematics learning.Teachers should recognize the rationality of students' mistakes and make good use of their mistakes in teaching.Researching students' mistakes in solving quadratic inequalities in one unknown can not only provide guidance to mathematics teachers, but also help students reduce the occurrence of mathematics problem-solving errors. The content of solving quadratic inequalities in one unknown is the key and difficult point of high school mathematics learning. It is not only an extension of the content of solving one-degree inequalities in junior high schools, but also the use and consolidation of the collective knowledge learned before, and it also paves the way for the following content such as solving fractional inequalities, inequalities containing absolute values, and finding the domain and range of functions. Therefore, this content has played an important role in connecting the past and the future in the entire high school mathematics learning. This article investigates and analyzes the mistakes made by high school students in solving quadratic inequalities in one unknown. It mainly studies the following three basic problems:(1)What are the common types of mistakes made by high school students in solving quadratic inequalities in one unknown?(2)What are the main reasons why students make mistakes in solving quadratic inequalities in one unknown?(3)What are the error correction strategies for students to solve quadratic inequalities in one unknown? On the basis of combing and analyzing relevant existing research, this paper adopts the research methods of test paper analysis and interview method, and passes the "High School Students Solving the One-dimensional Quadratic Inequality Test Paper" and the "Outline of Teacher Interview with Senior High School Students Solving the Onedimensional Quadratic Inequality ".The analytical tools are used to test students and interview teachers. Finally, this article draws the following research results:First of all,the research results on the types of errors in solving unary quadratic inequality in high school students are as follows:(1)The probability of students' error types in solving problems from high to low is: intellectual error, psychological error, logical error, and strategic error;(2)Almost all types of errors of students are accompanied by intellectual errors.Secondly, the reasons for the high school students' errors in solving the problems of the one-dimensional quadratic inequality mainly include the teachers' reasons and the students' own reasons. The main reasons for teachers include differences in teachers' teaching concepts and teaching methods, improper ways of correcting errors, and teachers' wrong attitudes towards students. The main reasons for students include students' inadequate mastery of basic mathematics knowledge, logical confusion in the process of solving problems, lacking of reflection on errors, and poor mentality of students in solving problems. Finally, the error correction strategies to reduce students' mistakes in solving problems of the one-dimensional quadratic inequality also include suggestions to teachers and suggestions to students themselves. The suggestions to teachers mainly include helping students build a good mathematical knowledge system, correcting students' mistakes in time, setting up exercises reasonably, focusing on the cultivation of students' math learning methods and mathematical thinking, making good use of students' wrong question resources for teaching, and allowing students find and correct mistakes themselves. The suggestions for students mainly include paying attention to the understanding of basic mathematics knowledge, timely sorting out and reflecting on the errors of mathematics in deep, cultivating good problem-solving psychology and developing good mathematics study habits and so on.
