Objective: This study aims to enrich the empirical research on bullying victimization in China by exploring the potential categories of bullying victimization in high school students and the effects of potential categories on health risk behaviors.Meanwhile, this study provides educational suggestions for prevention and control of bullying victimization among high school students,so as to prevent the occurrence of bullying victimization. Methods: This study used the traditional and cyber bullying behavior questionnaire and Adolescent Health related Risk Behavior Inventory(AHRBI)to survey 794 high school students in 4 middle schools in Liaoning Province. The data is analyzed and processed through SPSS22.0 and Mplus8.3.Results:(1)Potential profile analysis showed that there were three typical victimization types of traditional bullying: “unvictimized group”(69.27%),“traditional bullying low-victimization group”(25.69%),“traditional bullying high-victimization group”(5.04%);there were two typical victimization types of cyberbullying: “light-victimization group”(16.37%)and “high-victimization group”(83.63%);(2)Male junior high school students in rural areas whose parents work in other places are more likely to be victims of traditional bullying, and female senior high school students in urban areas whose parents do not work in other places are more likely to be victims of cyberbullying;(3)Both the traditional bullying low-victimization group and the cyberbullying light-victimization group had a more profound effect on the health risk behaviors of high school students. Conclusion:The traditional bullying victimization of high school students in Liaoning Province can be divided into three latent types: “unvictimized group”,“traditional bullying low-victimization group”,“traditional bullying high-victimization group”;cyberbullying victimization can be divided into two latent types: “light-victimization group” and “high-victimization group”.Cyberbullying is common among high school students. The latent categories of traditional and cyberbullying victimization all have different effects on health risk behaviors.Different types of bullying victimization have different impact mechanisms on health risk behaviors,so it is necessary to consider their heterogeneity and provide targeted help to prevent and control bullying victimization.
