Function is the most basic concept of modern mathematics.It is the most basic mathematical language and tool to describe the relationship and law of variables in the objective world.It plays an important role in solving practical problems.Function is the main line throughout the high school mathematics curriculum,and the concept of function as the core concept of mathematics,almost all the algebra content in high school mathematics are around the function and function thought.This part of "function concept" requires students to use set language and corresponding relationship to describe functions on the basis of describing functions with variable dependency in junior high school.If teachers do not deal with it properly,it is likely to cause students’ strong cognitive conflict.Therefore,this paper takes the concept of function as the carrier,carries out teaching design and teaching practice from the perspective of the history of mathematics,summarizes the strategies of integrating the history of mathematics into classroom teaching,and effectively improves the teaching effect of the concept of function.This study mainly carries out the following aspects of work:1.Combing the development history of function concept.After a large number of literature review,this paper combs the history of the occurrence and development of the function concept,takes the occurrence and development of the function concept as the main line,and sorts out the historical resources of the function concept with educational value,so as to pave the way for the subsequent function concept teaching design.2.Understand the teaching status of function concept.In the practice school classroom observation,at the same time,the city’s four high school 520 high school students conduct a questionnaire survey,in-depth understanding of the teaching situation,analysis of teaching and learning problems.3.Summarize the teaching design process of HPM integrating function concept.In order to form the framework of teaching design from the perspective of HPM,this paper sorts out the selection principle of mathematical historical materials and the application method of mathematical history in teaching design.4.Design and verify the teaching effect from the perspective of mathematical history.The results of student interviews and teacher interviews show that the selection of appropriate historical materials into teaching design can improve classroom efficiency and effectively break through the thinking difficulties.It can also improve students’ interest in learning and make them understand the cultural value and application value of mathematics. |
